01What we do

We build with semantic HTML, visible focus states, keyboard-reachable navigation, descriptive link text and alternative text on meaningful images.

Our target is WCAG 2.1 AA: sufficient colour contrast, resizable text without loss of content, and layouts that reflow on small screens and at high zoom.

02Reporting a barrier

If any page or story is difficult to use with assistive technology, tell us the page address and the tool you are using through the contact page. Accessibility reports are treated as newsroom priorities.
